JOHN CHOUEIFATE

John Choueifate has been involved in the Australian media industry for more than 40 years and has held executive roles at the Seven, Nine and Ten Networks and News Ltd.
He has overseen major news events over many decades and directed and mentored a number of Australia’s leading presenters, broadcasters and journalists.
John was appointed by NSW Premier Morris Iemma as Head of Government Strategy and Communication in 2008, and still maintains relationships with State and Federal Government Ministers, along with business leaders and captains of industry.
In 2007, he established a crisis communications and strategy consultancy business which also offered media training.
John served on the Children’s Hospital at Westmead board for several years and was also appointed by Premier Bob Carr on an Implementation Committee looking at troubled youth.
He currently works in the Local Government sector offering strategic advice, policy and overseeing communications.
It’s no secret he loves his footy and watches most games every week.
